About Us
My name is Brad Smith and I am the owner of Mobile Fabrications – Mobile Welding Pro’s. I started my welding career here in central Kentucky and gained all of my skills and experience working in the field! I started out working for a small pipefitting/industrial maintenance company in Lexington, Ky! I worked several years in the pipefitting/welding industry, learning and building my skills as a welder/pipefitter!
I was mentored by a very knowledgeable friend and master pipe welder! I was like a sponge, soaking up all the experience and knowledge that he had to offer! You could say that he made me the welder that I am today in some ways!!
After I left that company, I worked for several different welding/fabricating companies as an independent contractor picking up a lot of skills and experience in different fields and processes of the welding industry. I worked for Link-Belt for several years welding on million-dollar cranes! All the while, working for all these other businesses, I always had a burning hunger inside me to one day be a business owner myself!

I worked several years in the pipefitting/welding industry, learning and building my skills as a welder/pipefitter!
Over the years, as I could afford it, I would slowly buy tools and equipment that I would need to one day “Break Out” on my own! I bought a truck and a used welder and started doing work on the side when I could until I could comfortably quit my day job and rely solely on the small clientele that I had built up! Well, that was almost 4 years ago and the company is growing every day!
Today, my clientele ranges from many car washes in central Kentucky to excavating companies, mowing companies, and the list goes on and on!
With over 4 years of experience in the business, we have gradually grown our mobile welding and fabrication services. We are capable of coming to you or your business to provide welding/fabricating services!
We offer pre-fabrication shop services as well! If you or your business has a stairway, handrail, or automatic entryway gate project you would like us to pre-fabricate and install, we are absolutely capable of doing so!
We offer mobile Aluminum and Stainless Steel welding capabilities as well! With our experience and knowledge, we complete every project with precision and quality workmanship. You can trust that your project is in good hands with us!

We have years of experience in the industry and are highly knowledgeable in all aspects of fabrication. We’ll efficiently come out and take a look at your project, and then provide you with a formal quote that includes all material and labor costs.
If we agree on a job, we’ll schedule it and always be in touch with you before and throughout the whole process. We accept cash, check, and credit card payments, and in some cases on larger jobs, we may require a deposit to cover material expenses. Our company is fully insured so you can rest assured that your project is in good hands.

A collection of historic and vintage Bourbon Artifacts is also available for sale and viewing. Items over 100 years old. Also we feature an assortment of gifts the bourbon enthusiast will love.

Authentic Thoroughbred Race Horse Shoe
These authentic horse shoes were removed by the farrier from actively racing Thoroughbred horses. The shoes have been left in their used state containing actual dirt from Keeneland and Churchill Downs race tracks.
